When receiving from the gas filling station or cylinder storage, the cylinders received shall be inspected one by one. In case of any of the following circumstances, the cylinders shall not be accepted.

1. The cylinder is not attached with other inspection certificates after filling.

2. The color mark of the gas cylinder is inconsistent with the required gas, the color mark of the cargo is ambiguous, or the surface paint color is covered with another paint color.

3. The original mark, inspection mark and inspection color code of the gas cylinder are incomplete, do not conform to the regulations or exceed the validity period of the positioning inspection.

4. The cylinder body has defects that cannot ensure the safe use of the cylinder. For example, serious scratches, gouges, pits, dents, bulges, cracks, thermal damage, rust, etc

5. The cylinder cap and shockproof ring are not installed on the cylinder, or the size of the cylinder cap and shockproof ring is inconsistent or damaged.

6. The cylinder shall not be upright, and the base shall be loose or inclined.

7. The cylinder valve leaks, the valve parts are damaged, the thread direction of the side nozzle is inconsistent with the required gas property, or the thread is damaged. For gas cylinders transported for a long distance, there is no cap or lead seal installed on the nozzle on the side of the opposite valve.

8. There is grease on oxygen or oxidizing gas cylinders or cylinder valves.

9. The nozzle on the valve side of the dissolved acetylene cylinder has carbon black glue or substances.

10. There is no word "medical" on the medical cylinder.

When receiving cylinders from the gas filling station or cylinder storage, if it is necessary to measure the gas pressure in the cylinder, the weight or the pressure and weight can be measured at the same time, the sampling measurement can be carried out according to the pressure and weight specified in the standard. There is no uniform regulation on the proportion of sampling test in China, generally:

1. One cylinder shall be sampled if the number of cylinders in a batch is less than 10;

2. Sample 2 cylinders in a batch of less than 40;

3. Sample 3 cylinders in a batch of less than 60;

4. Four cylinders in a batch of more than 60 shall be sampled;

When the sampling test results are unqualified, the retest shall be conducted in the same proportion. If the retest result is still unqualified, this batch of gas cylinders shall be considered as unqualified.

If there are special requirements for the purity, moisture and other miscellaneous matters of the gas in the bottle, the sampling inspection can be conducted according to the above proportion.

The pressure of permanent gas cylinder shall be measured 2 hours after filling; For the pressure, weight, purity and magazine measurement of dissolved acetylene cylinder, the cylinder shall be taken after standing for 24 hours.

During the above inspection, the defective cylinders shall be briefly indicated on the cylinders at any time, and shall be clearly explained to the filling station or storage warehouse to avoid being taken by others.

It must be pointed out here that adding an appropriate amount of acetone to dissolved acetylene cylinders before filling is an indispensable and important work to ensure the safe filling, transportation, storage and use of dissolved acetylene cylinders, while some illegal acetylene filling units disregard the safety of people's lives and property. Unexpectedly, before filling acetylene, they did not check the loss of acetone in the cylinder and did not add acetone to the cylinder, allowing it to continue to lose, and lied to users that "the pressure in the acetylene cylinder of our factory is higher than that of xx factory", causing losses to law-abiding acetylene filling units. In fact, the so-called "high pressure" is simply due to insufficient acetone in the bottle, which makes the bottle expand safely and the amount of gaseous acetylene increases.
