The functions of the accumulator mainly include energy storage, hydraulic shock absorption, pulse elimination and energy recovery.
Energy storage: this type of function mainly applies the function that the accumulator can store more energy. In actual use, it can be subdivided into auxiliary power source, reducing installed capacity, compensating leakage, emergency power source and constant pressure oil source.
Typical hydraulic power circuit is shown in Figure 2-1, and hydraulic power circuit with energy storage is shown in Figure 2-2
From the surface, the difference between the two circuits is only whether there is an accumulator, but the performance difference between the two circuits is very large. The accumulator appears in the hydraulic source circuit as the energy storage, and its main use is the auxiliary oil source of the seat. This circuit is often used in hydraulic systems under intermittent operating conditions. The energy storage device installed in the hydraulic source circuit has obvious effects in reducing the driving power of the hydraulic pump, saving energy, reducing noise, eliminating pulsation, and reducing the operating cost of the equipment; On the other hand, it can also improve the safety and reliability of the hydraulic system. Once a fault or power failure occurs, it can also be used as an emergency power source to restore the host to a safe state and avoid major accidents.
This kind of circuit can replenish oil when the hydraulic system is working, reduce the oil supply of the hydraulic oil pump, reduce the motor power, reduce the size and weight of the hydraulic system, and save investment. Common and intermittent action, and the working time is very short; Or the speed varies greatly in a working cycle. Where a large amount of hydraulic oil is required to be replenished instantaneously.
For typical auxiliary energy circuit, in the hydraulic system of hydraulic press, when the mold contacts the tool slowly and maintains pressure, part of the hydraulic oil is stored in the accumulator; When the die moves quickly to the workpiece and returns quickly, the accumulator and the pump supply oil at the same time to make the hydraulic cylinder act quickly.
