Overview of diaphragm accumulator

  The diaphragm type accumulator adopts a sealed steel shell and a rubber diaphragm. The accumulator is divided into two parts, one end is filled with inert gas and the other end is filled with liquid. The energy of the pressurized liquid is stored and released by using the scalability of the rubber and the compressibility of the gas. Use the energy of pressurized liquid to store and release, and the accumulator can be used as; Emergency or fast energy storage, hydraulic pipeline absorbs impact, absorbs pump pulsation, and leakage compensation.   Diaphragm accumulators can be roughly divided into welded type and threaded type. Their basic structure and working principle are the same. The difference is that the welded structure is to weld the accumulator into a whole, while the threaded structure is to use the middle nut to connect the upper and lower shells of the accumulator into a whole.

  Due to the welding method, the welded diaphragm accumulator has the smallest volume of all accumulators (at the same volume).

  In some corrosive environments or when the medium used in the system is corrosive, the accumulator must undergo anti-corrosion treatment. Generally, the method of chemical coating or metal plating on the shell or using stainless steel as the shell material is adopted.

  Different rubber materials can be selected according to the medium used in the system and the service temperature; Ordinary nitrile rubber, butyl rubber, low-temperature nitrile rubber, fluororubber, others (according to customer requirements, such as ethylene-propylene rubber, neoprene).

  The diaphragm accumulator can be installed at any position in the system, either horizontally or vertically. Diaphragm accumulators are designed to be directly fixed with the liquid end thread and the system, but in some poor environments (such as vibration and walking equipment), clamps are recommended for fixation.
