During the use of the accumulator, the air tightness of the air bag shall be checked regularly. For newly used accumulators, they shall be inspected once a week, once more in the first month, and then once a half year. Accumulators used as reactive power sources should be inspected and maintained frequently to ensure safety.
After the accumulator is inflated, each part must not be disassembled or loosened to avoid danger. When it is necessary to disassemble, the gas shall be discharged first, and then the disassembly shall be carried out after confirming that there is no gas.
The accumulator used in the environment with high temperature radiation heat source can be equipped with two layers of iron plate and one layer of asbestos insulation plate beside the accumulator for thermal insulation.
After the accumulator is installed, the stiffness of the system decreases. Therefore, the influence degree of this factor must be fully considered in the devices with stiffness requirements for the system.
After long-term shutdown, close the stop valve between the accumulator and the system pipeline, keep the oil pressure of the accumulator above the inflation pressure, and keep the leather bag away from the bottom.
Accumulators are dangerous parts in the hydraulic system, so special attention shall be paid during operation. In case of failure, the pressure of the accumulator must be removed first, and then the gas in the capsule shall be exhausted with an inflating tool, so that the system can be maintained without pressure and the accumulator and all parts can be disassembled to avoid accidents.
